Croydon Wanderers RFC is a competitive and social rugby club based on the Surrey-Kent border, between Croydon and West Wickham. We have a senior men’s team that currently competes in the Kent Metropolitan A League, and we are affiliated with Surrey RFU.
We are always looking for players like you.
Do you live in Croydon, New Addington, West Wickham, Hayes or the surrounding areas? All abilities and ages are welcome to play rugby at Croydon Wanderers!
Whatever your ability, our main goal is to welcome people of all levels, from total beginners to confirmed players, developing rugby skills and fitness for all, as individuals and as a team. The most crucial objective is that we all have fun playing our amazing sport together. We have excellent facilities and a vibrant club atmosphere, with our clubhouse offering the most affordable beer around.
What are the Membership Fees and Benefits?
Rugby Player Membership is £140 pa and includes Social Membership.

Missed the start of the season? No problem! We welcome rugby players throughout the year, so you can join, train and integrate with the team at any time.
Season Start: 27/08/25
First League Game : 13/09/25 Last League Game: 28/03/26
20 games: 12 League games and 8 Friendly games
Opportunity to participate in Cup competitions after the end of the League
When is Senior Team Training?
The Senior Team trains as one squad on Wednesday nights from 7:30pm.
During training, we focus on basic skills, drills and fitness. Then, we focus on game day, and the team practices its game play for the forthcoming game.
