What size is your hall?

  • 14.8m (48ft 5”) length

  • 10.8m (35ft 4”) width

  • 3.75m (12ft 3”) height to beams

The bar area is a separate additional space.

When is the hall available to hire?

We offer exclusive hall hire on Saturdays and Sundays only, year-round, for your private celebrations!

Is there a bar available?

Yes, your booking includes access to our fully licensed members’ bar. We provide bar staff for your event.

This bar may be in use by our members for home games during the rugby season. Our members are very respectful of your function and would never enter the hired hall space. Please chat with us if a home game clash is a concern.

Please note: As a licensed premises, we are responsible for monitoring alcohol consumption and only allow alcohol purchased from our bar. Therefore, guests are not permitted to bring or consume their own alcohol on the premises. Drinks brought onto the premises will be confiscated.

We operate an U25 challenge policy. Anyone found underage drinking or drinking their own alcohol will be asked to leave the premises.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes! You are welcome to bring your own catering or hire an outside caterer. You will have access to our kitchen for basic food preparation, plating, heating up and keeping things chilled.

Note: Deep frying or heavy grease-based cooking is not permitted.

Can I host a children’s birthday party?

Absolutely! We are a prime spot for kids' parties. The hall is spacious enough for entertainers, games, and even most standard-sized bouncy castles. Plus, we have plenty of outdoor space if the weather is on your side.

Can I have a bouncy castle inside?

Yes! Our hall ceiling height is approximately 3.75m or 12ft 3”. Most "low-profile" or standard indoor castles fit perfectly. We just ask that your supplier provide their own insurance (PLI) and use safety mats.

Can I decorate the hall?

Absolutely! We want you to make the space your own for your celebration. You are welcome to bring in balloons, balloon arches, banners, bunting, foil curtains, flower walls and table decorations to bring your theme to life.

To help us keep the clubhouse looking its best for everyone, we just have a couple of ground rules for putting them up:

  • Where to hang: Please pin or tie your decorations exclusively to the wooden beams and battens around the hall.

  • What to avoid: Please do not use sellotape, Blu-Tack, or any other adhesives on painted plaster walls or surfaces, as they can cause damage and peel the paint.

We also have plenty of plug sockets available around the room, so you are more than welcome to bring in bubble machines, fairy lights, neon or word lights, photo booths, chocolate fountains, or popcorn machines to add that extra sparkle to your event. We just ask that you take down your decorations at the end of your hire period.

Can I hire a DJ or a live band?

Of course. We have plenty of power outlets for sound equipment and lights. Please respect our neighbours and keep the volume at a reasonable level, especially when loading up late at night.

Is there parking?

Yes! We have a large, free, secure on-site car park.

What are my responsibilities for cleaning?

We ask that you leave the hall in the condition you found it. This means:

  • Clearing away decorations.

  • Putting all your rubbish in our large wheelie bins outside.

  • Taking any bulky items like balloon arches, signs or other decorations with you.

  • Cleaning the kitchen area.

What is the Hall capacity?

Maximum 100 people, 120 with the bar.

Seated: 12 tables seating 8 people (approximately).

Can I view the Hall and facilities?

Yes, please email us, and we can arrange a viewing for you.

Is the deposit refundable?

We take a deposit to secure your booking. This means we will turn down others who wish to book the same date. The closer we are to a date, the more difficult it is to replace a booking should there be a cancellation. We therefore refund deposits only if you cancel with at least 6 weeks' notice.
